PLEASE READ BEFORE BUYING A TORNADO SHELTER

Some companies claim to be the biggest and the top rated, and have a superior product, as well as having manufactured and sold thousands of tornado shelters. We encourage you to thoroughly check the claims of these manufacturers. Just simply ask for references from previous customers they have installed their own shelter for in the past couple of years.

Some companies also try to degrade fiberglass products to convince you to buy plastic. They also brag about manufacturing all types of other products.. As with many other companies that have been in this situation this is a sideline business for them not their specialty. Therefore when they decide it is not profitable to produce a shelter, they eliminate it from their product line and the customer is stuck with no warranty or service. Also in order for a shelter to meet F.E.M.A. specifications the seating area required is 5 sq. ft. per person. Make sure you are truly getting a 5 person shelter. Just because you can fit 5 people doesn't mean that it is rated for that.
